I believe that it is important to have a "good fit" in the counselling relationship and that you feel comfortable in your choice when selecting a therapist to work with. You will have the opportunity to learn more about me, and the therapeutic process, prior to booking an initial appointment in order to determine if you are ready to start your healing journey and would like me to guide you through it.
Payment is expected on the day of the session. You have three choices for payment methods: e-transfer, cash, or credit card. I will email you an official receipt within 48-hours.

Although psychotherapy is not covered by OHIP, fee coverage for psychotherapy is often covered by private insurance benefit providers and many Employee Assistance Programs (EAP). I encourage you to check with your specific provider and plan to see if they specifically cover "psychotherapy". In the event you are covered, you are still expected to pay for the session on the day of service and I will provide you with an official receipt to submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
In the event that you are unable to attend a scheduled session, please contact me as soon as possible so that we can arrange an alternative appointment. Cancelled appointments will be charged in full unless 24-hour notice has been provided. Additionally, if you are more than 15-minutes late for your scheduled appointment, the appointment will need to be rescheduled; if you are up to 15-minutes late you will be allotted the remainder of your appointment time.
